Many people using this site are dealing with a new diagnosis, are fatigued from treatment, or are older adults who may not use assistive technology every day. We want this site to work for all of them.
What we’ve built in
- Every page can be navigated and operated by keyboard alone
- A visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- Text colors checked against WCAG contrast requirements against their backgrounds
- Body text no smaller than 16px anywhere on the site
- Animations and transitions are disabled for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference
- Meaningful images have real alt text; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers
This is an ongoing effort, not a one-time certification. We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit, and we don’t claim full conformance with any specific WCAG level today — we’re working toward it.
