Dr. Fredman's journey in medicine began with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His extensive training includes an internal medicine internship at MetroHealth Medical Center and a residency in Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Fredman has held prestigious positions such as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Ohio.
Dr. Fredman is deeply committed to research, particularly in the areas of prostate and bladder cancer. He has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and has been a principal investigator in several significant studies, including those on SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy) and brachytherapy. His work in combining MRI-guided HDR (High Dose Rate) brachytherapy with SBRT has opened new avenues for effective, minimally invasive cancer treatments.

His current projects include a multicenter prospective randomized phase III trial for muscle-invasive bladder cancer and a dose and targeting study of combined MRI-guided brachytherapy and EBRT for prostate cancer. He is also an active member of several professional societies, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the Israel Medical Association.
